What a fun way to connect links with home and support our sense of Manu Atua with Wheels Day in our Level 3 bubble. All of our wonderful tamariki followed the instructions on how to keep ourselves safe by wearing our helmets, following the arrows on the road and respecting each other’s space. Kia ora so much to one of our tamariki whose ka pai idea it was, inspired by their sibling who was also having a Rā o Wira at their Primary School. Kia ora whānau!
The tamariki seemed to really enjoy the opportunity to ‘zoom’ around Rānui Kindergarten, seeing how fast or slow they could go and simultaneously exploring momentum and inertia. With the concept of ako in action, both tamariki and kaiako experienced opportunities to be teachers and learners. Kia ora to our whānau and whaea for all your contributions.
