Grey Lynn Kindergarten has been part of the Enviroschool programme since 2006; a strand of the kaupapa is sharing ideas about Learning for Sustainability.

In early March we celebrated Sea Week by having a Puppet Show about different animals that live in the ocean and how we can keep the sea clean from rubbish. We also had a whānau social event in the evening, getting together to celebrate with kai, friends and family.

During the week a number of art activities were explored as well as kaiako provocations to start conversations about sea life and to build awareness, interest, knowledge and vocabulary about life in the water and on shores and beaches in our world.
