On the last Friday of the term break whānau (families) and kaiako (teachers) from Milford Kindergarten shared a morning of rural life out at kaiako Denise’s farm. Despite the rain we toasted marshmallows and made campfire donuts before feeding the pigs and tramping up the hill to visit the cattle.
Some of our tamariki had never been to a farm before and for others it was not their first visit. We are so grateful to Denise and her family for offering us this opportunity to offer a totally unique educational experiences to our tamariki and whānau and to connect with them during the term break. Ngā mihi nui Denise and whānau!
