Today as part of Tongan week, some of the children dressed up in Tongan costume. The girls had flowers (hibiscus and frangipani) in their hair. The girls are all wearing nice dress (puletaha) with their kiekie and kahoa (necklace). The boys are wearing tupenu with their ‘ta’ovala’ wrapped around their waist, tighten with a ‘kafa’ that goes with the necklace. Everyone seems to enjoy watching while the Tongan models demonstrate and later on dance to the beat of the pacific. Well done everyone!!!!! Malo aupito and Tu’a ‘Ofa Atu
