Distance learning at Wellsford Kindergarten saw the kaiako turn into posties! Once a week they delivered joy in the form of resource packs, books, activity sheets and craft packs. Tamariki and whānau were encouraged to share the learning and fun that these deliveries brought about.

Whanaungatanga means a lot to us here, even more so during lockdown, when we’re all secluded and missing our friends and whānau. These deliveries lifted whānau engagement both within the household – whānau members coming together to share the goodies from the packs – and between home and the kindergarten.
