Our Howick Kindergarten Bike-a-thon fundraiser event was a lovely way for our community to come together with extended family. The great weather along with food stalls and barbeque supported by our parents made the event a success. Children lined up, ready to do their laps around the track, eager to show off their shiny wheels, helmets and smiles along with their super biking skills. Our tamariki brought joy and laughter to the experience, and this was a lovely social occasion for our parents, children, teachers and the wider community. We are thankful to Owairoa school for providing the school grounds and facilities for our event. Working in partnership with our local community makes it a fun interactive event creating lasting memories.
