On the last day of term (Friday 18th December 2015) we celebrated our amazing, unqiue and talented children of our kindergarten. We had the 2nd Excellence Awards of the year as well as graduating children and their families.

Children and families invited extended families and friends to attend the celebration and with over 170 in attendance it was a great way to end the term with close ones together.

We presented Excellence awards in catagories such as Fine arts, Construction and development, Performing Arts, Hospitality, Agriculture, and many more to our children. We also graduated five children with their framed certificates as well as certificates for their parents too. We also presented the parent’s aspirations in a frame to encourage them to strive and cheer their children on in the years to come.

We were very fortunate to have special guest from head office Kim Wyborn and Nina Vaireka Pasena and the Principle of Bairds Mainfreight Primary School Alan Lyth.

Videos throughout the year were shown throughout the event as well as a performance from some parents of cook island dancing.

It was a successful event finished off with lunch.
