By focusing on children’s strengths, interests and abilities we can ensure children are motivated in their learning and have meaningful experiences here at Maraetai Beachlands Kindergarten and in the wider world.

At Maraetai Beachlands, we work in partnership with children and parents / whānau.  We value the input, knowledge and culture of our parents.

A feature of our environment is the beautiful pohutukawa trees at Maraetai Beachlands Kindergarten – these support learning opportunities as well as providing shade.

Our kindergartens have early childhood qualified and registered teachers.  The teachers are dedicated to, and passionate about, early childhood education.  Each kindergarten has a head teacher plus teachers and support staff.  Quality learning programmes are based on the New Zealand Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Whāriki.

Here at Maraetai Beachlands Kindergarten we have 5 permanent staff members.

Our staff are friendly and awesome, we work hard to create a wonderful, safe learning environment/experience for your children.  We welcome all children and their families/whanau at all times.
