The theme for Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori, Māori Language Week 2024 is  ‘Ake ake ake – A Forever Language.’

At Milford Kindergarten we seek to be bicultural practitioners and we embrace te reo and tikanga Māori daily and meaningfully within our kindergarten. This year during te wiki o te reo Māori we offered opportunities for authentic engagement with te reo Māori for our whanau and tamariki through a week of events focused on whakawhangata and te whare tapawhā well being practices.
