At Ōrākei Kindergarten our curriculum flourishes through our environmental action-based programme, with a focus on sustainability, we inspire and empower our children to make a difference in the world. We’re proud to be part of the Enviroschool programme.

Space to learn and grow – We are lucky to have such a beautiful spacious kindergarten! Our amazing outdoor environment is the heart of our Kindergarten, the children can access our natural environment and fresh air every day.

Play-based learning – At Ōrākei Kindergarten, we are proud to offer an inclusive, enjoyable, and friendly environment for children to play and learn. We believe that play is a crucial part of the learning process, and by focusing on the children’s strengths and interests, we can help them develop in all areas. We give children the freedom to be themselves, allowing them to grow and thrive naturally.

Strong relationships – We prioritize building respectful relationships with our children, which empowers them and boosts their confidence. We also encourage our children to engage respectfully with each other and the environment, fostering a sense of love. By doing so, we aim to contribute to creating a peaceful, healthy, and sustainable future, and to spread happiness. In addition to this, we build strong relationships with our families and the wider community, promoting a sense of belonging and inclusiveness.

We welcome children aged 2-5 years old and offer up to 20hrs free weekly. We would love you to visit us so you can see and feel what an amazing kindergarten we truly do have.
