Kia ora and welcome to KiNZ Sandringham

KiNZ Sandringham has beautiful learning spaces that invite children to extend and develop their skills and knowledge. Children are empowered to imagine and construct their reality through play – providing a feeling of competence and control, and building self-esteem.

Suiting your needs – Our fully qualified, stable teaching team provide quality care and education for 2 to 5-year-olds all through the year, only closing for public holidays. We’re open from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm, with flexible drop off and pick up times and offer 20 hours free every week for 3 to 5-year-olds. We provide delicious, fresh and nutritious meals prepared by our experienced cook. We cater for individual requirements and all meat is Halal.

Our values – At our childcare centre, we prioritise care and respect as our core values. Our team is always ready to help whānau and tamariki transition into centre life with ease. We understand that every child is unique and has individual rhythms, so we make sure to provide tailored support to each child. Our aim is to help children build strong relationships with their peers and feel right at home in our center.

Strong relationships – Situated on the grounds of Edendale Primary School, we are an important part of the Sandringham community, enjoying strong relationships with whānau both present and past and supporting the transition to school.

Our teaching team – Our teaching team is culturally diverse, and we have created an environment that respects and celebrates the cultural backgrounds of our families and whānau. Our kaiako are skilled in implementing the Incredible Years Teacher Programme, which helps young children with self-regulation and enhances their social, emotional, and academic competence.

We invite you to visit us and experience our welcoming environment firsthand. You will witness the high-quality learning and support that your child will receive with us, and be assured that they will receive the best early childhood education.

Sangita, Rose, Nissa, Chloe, Shiby, Puloma, Rundi and Tracey welcome you to KiNZ Sandringham.

  • WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING

Our children gained incredible confidence on joining KiNZ. They learned how to build relationships and respect their friends and teachers. The children were regularly given age appropriate responsibilities, and they absolutely loved to shine in these roles. On those odd days where a child was needing extra reassurance and support, I observed the teachers were always there for them, calmly reassuring the child and assisting the child to negotiate their feelings. Food was nutritious, tasty and healthy. The menu was thoughtfully put together and the kitchen immaculate. One of my children had special dietary requirements and this was catered to with ease.

  • WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING

Thank you so much for all the care, learning and fun that you’ve provided in the time that he’s been at KiNZ. He always had a great time and gets to do the things he loves. He’s formed some strong friendships which I know he’ll carry on to school. Just think of all the extra boxes you will have …. Keep up the great work.
