Our Kindergarten received two new Guinea Pigs early in the year, Marmite and Peanut who we thought were both female.

However, Marmite had a dramatic weight gain last week which made us realise something special may have been happening.  Marmite was pregnant and yesterday morning gave birth to two healthy pups. The black pup weighs 93 grams and the brown pup is 91 grams.  Mother and Babies are doing extremely well.

This has been an unexpected but happy surprise for everyone.  Our children love the Kindergarten Guinea Pigs and will enjoy watching these new babies grow.
