Since the beginning of 2016 we have developed a wonderful relationship with residents from Pakuranga Retirement Village.

These new relationships are deepening our understanding and respect of each other as learners by being gracious, kind, helpful and friendly.

Our intergenerational friends are now an important part of our learning programme through their visits, sharing their life and knowledge and skills to our tamariki.  The tamariki are respectful, take time to listen, play, share, sing, laugh and have fun together.

Age is not a barrier here. Imagination blossoms when the young and old mix together.
