To celebrate Lunar New Year KiNZ Mission Heights got involved with dumpling making! We welcomed some centre whānau to teach us how to prepare traditional dumplings.
The tamariki were able to shape the dough, roll out the pastry, fold dumplings and later eat their yummy creations. It was a great opportunity to learn about and appreciate one of the diverse cultures we have at Mission Heights. It was also a wonderful, hands-on lesson in preparing food.
We are so thankful to our amazing whānau for sharing their knowledge and skills with the tamariki. Happy Year of the Rabbit!
