KiNZ Care and Early Learning Centres are Auckland Kindergarten Association‘s 4 full-day centres. We offer care and early learning programmes for children from 6 months of age* until they begin school, with an emphasis on excellence in education.

KiNZ centres are staffed by 100% qualifed Early Learning Education teachers.  Tamariki learn through play and teachers focus on developing each child’s unique strengths and interests, and building knowledge, skills and dispositions within a caring and respectful environment.  We have well-resourced curriculum areas for experimentation, exploration and fun.

KiNZ centres also provide meals and offer 20 hour free every week for 3-5 year olds.

Our kindergarten style learning programme is based on the NZ Early Childhood Curriculum, Te Whāriki. It is designed to support children to grow up as competent and confident learners and communicators, healthy in mind, body, and spirit, secure in their sense of belonging and in the knowledge that they make a valued contribution to society.

Our learning programme promotes and extends the learning and development of every child by focusing on their individual strengths and interests.

Every day includes a variety of planned and spontaneous activities, small group and individual interactions, active and quiet time, indoor and outdoor play. Teachers provide children with an extensive range of high quality resources and educational opportunities, supporting in their journey of lifelong learning. Preparing children for their transistion to school is also part of what we do every day.
