Duffy Books in Homes along with the Auckland Kindergarten Association donated two FREE books to all the families who attend Kelston Girl’s College Playgroup.

Fonda (Playgroup Facilitator) and Suzie (Early Language Specialist) visited Kelston Girls College Playgroup to give the children and whānau two of their very own Duffy Books.  Sharing the joy of reading opens up so many doors and sets children on the road to become life long readers.  Children are learning that books, and the words in them, can be fun, amusing and full of excitement and information.  Talking about the pictures using lanugage that works best for your child and reading aloud, helps children to learn about language.

“We were greatly surprised to receive our free books.  Thank you Duffy Books in Homes and Auckland Kindergarten Association for your kindness and generosity.  My child was elated to receive them today and the bonus was we got to read both her books at mat time today – the books were hilarious!”
