At Highland Park Kindergarten, the children were inspired to create artworks featuring our late Queen. Inspired by a drawing done by one of the children, a table was set up with the Queen’s photograph and the child’s artwork beside it.  Some of the children commented that the Queen wasn’t wearing her crown in the photo. Therefore, to add to the regal atmosphere, the teaching team suggested they could mock up some crowns for the table that the children could wear as they worked.  The crowns were a popular addition and siblings Freya and Blake particularly enjoyed the chance to pop on a crown and reflect a little on their British heritage and this moment in history. Here are our beautiful child-inspired tributes to the late Queen.
